Dr Onyinye Rufus-Obi Empowers Umunnekwu Agbor Widows in Grand Style

Women are known the world over as the pillars of our homes and foundations of humankind. This was further emphasised as Dr. Onyinye Kay Rufus Obi and the APGA candidate for Isuikwuato/ Umunneochi Federal House of Representatives in the coming elections on the 27th of December, 2022 graced the invitation of HRH. Eze (Engr) Okey A. Udeh (MNSC, MNIMechE, MNIM, FRC) and the Nkalu Ukwu Umunnekwu of Umunnekwu Autonomous Community of Isuikwuato for the ANNUAL HOSTING AND EMPOWERMENT OF UMUNNEKWU AGBO WIDOWS.

Other dignitaries who graced the empowerment Programme was the Incoming First Lady of Abia State and the wife of the APGA Governorship Candidate and founder of Gregory University Uturu, Lolo Ifeoma Gregory Ibe with her entourage of distinguished personalities.

It will interest you to know that Dr. Onyinye Rufus Kay Obi is a philanthropist with inestimable value and the founder of Dr. Onyinye Rufus Obi Foundation, a Foundation responsible for the welfare of the needy and displaced in our society. She is also advocating for women involvement in politics and critical decision making bodies in societal issues affecting them.

Her visit to Umunnekwu Autonomous Company is one out of several other places she has made a positive mark towards the emancipation of widows and development of the woman child in recent times.

As efforts to create a level platform for the Umunneochi and isuikwuato people aimed towards economic prosperity and infrastructural development, Dr. Onyinye Kay Rufus Obi is soliciting for the votes of well meaning isuikwuato/ Umunneochi people on the platform of APGA to occupy the Federal House of Representatives seat, a privilege if accorded will bring tremendous blessings not just to Isuikwuato/ Umunneochi Federal Constituency, but to Abia and Nigeria at large.
