Abia Community, Council of Ndi-Eze in Abuja Visit Abia SDP Guber Candidate, Dr Ngozika Johnson-Ogbuneke

As we count down to the all important Elections that will rewrite the history of Nigeria and Abia State in particular, the council of Ndi-Eze and Abia Community in Abuja, visited the Abia State SDP Governorship Candidate, Apostle Chief Dr Ngozika Gladys Johnson – Ogbuneke at her Abuja residence today, Thursday 9th, 2023 and pledged their unflinching support.

The Ndi-Ezes which include HRH Eze Amb Dr Igwe Ochendo, Ezendigbo Karu of Abuja, HRH Eze Amb Engnr David Okey-Dede – the Ezendigbo II of Mpape, Obatu-Obie 1 of Abuja, HRH Eze JI Nwagbara, Eze Igbo 1 of Lugbe of Abuja and High Chief Enyinnaya C. Ihejirika in their speeches stated that the male Governors for the past 31 years have failed not only Abia State but Ndi- Igbo and it was right, fair and just to support and vote in a capable woman candidate, in the person of Apostle Chief Dr Ngozika Johnson-Ogbuneke, to be the next Governor of Abia State. They pointed out that Abia State needs the tender, loving and management caring government of a female and capable Governor to help build up the State and move forward in a progressive trajectory.

In her Response, the SDP Governorship candidate, thanked the respected Royal Fathers, for the honour in endorsing her and she promised not to fail them nor the people of Abia State. She reiterated her promise to turn Abia State to a more positive and progressive State, into the “next London” within the first 24 months of her administration and if otherwise, to resign and call for a bye-election.

The Occasion ended with her receiving royal blessings from the fathers.
