Barely 48 hours after taken oath of office at the Umuahia Township Stadium, the newly sworn-in Governor of Abia State, Dr Alex Otti has made his first appointments, pjtvnews reports.
In a statement made available to newsmen on Tuesday by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Ferdinand Ekeoma, all appointments takes immediate effect.
Alex Otti approved the appointment of Prof Kenneth Kalu as the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Pastor Caleb Ajagba as Chief of Staff, Dr Ngozi Okoronkwo as his Special Adviser on Health Care Delivery Services.
Others are, Ferdinand Ekeoma as his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Kazie Ukoh as his Chief Press Secretary, Njum Onyemenam as his Accountant General.
He also appointed Ogbonna Okereke as the Head of Special Taskforce on Emergency Cleanup of Aba and Umuahia respectively.
