A group known as Abia Reputable Women Trinity (ARWN) has appealed to the Executive Governor of Abia State, Dr Alex Otti to consider some women who contested in the just concluded general elections in his cabinet, pjtvnews reports.
In a statement signed and endorsed by their leader, Rev Prof S.O Merit’rose, he said the women deserved to be recognized in Abia State Government for their services and also bring along and utilize their God given wealth of experiences in their various field of endeavors.
Rev Prof S.O Merit’rose listed the Social Democratic Party (SDP) Gubernatorial candidate in the just concluded elections, Apostle Dr Ngozika Johnson-Ogbuneke, the Action Democratic Congress (ADC) House of Representatives candidate for Arochukwu-Ohafia Federal Constituency, Rev Prof N.S.O Merit’rose and the Action Democratic Congress House of Representatives candidate for Isuikwuato/Umunneochi Federal Constituency, Barr Favour Chiemerie as those who should make it to Otti’s government.
He further went to state that, these people possess the capabilities, capacity and integrity to serve the state in any field of governance.
He concluded by saying that, the state needs sincere, clever, beautiful and God fearing womenike the trio above and that, that feminine touch to help the state heal from the trauma of years of poor governance.
