UNBELIEVABLE: Wike Received A Legendary Portrait Worth $100,000, But The Artist Was Denied Access to Meeting With His Excellency Till Date

Mr Frank A. Kelechi is an artist who loves coming up with quality legendary artwork (portrait).
Because of his love, he has carefully followed Chief (Bar) Nyesom Ezenwo Wike; the immediate past governor of Rivers State. And owing to his role played during and after the preceeding administration before he took over his predecessor. He decided to embark on this great work in representing His Excellency in an Artwork of size 6.3ft long and 8ft wide ; which took him ten (10) months due to the instability in dollar-naira exchange. Because of the quality of the work, he decided to deliver the work honourably which wasn’t easy because of the protocols around His Excellency but He never gave up. He was done with the work by December 2022 and made several attempt to deliver this Artwork to His Excellency but none could go through. He kept the work until the elections were over and then began the journey again.
Fortunately, he was privileged to meet with the then CHEIF OF STAFF which assisted in bringing the Artwork to River State Government House on 5th April, 2023. Although the Chief of Staff couldn’t do much because His Excellency was very busy with the awarding and commissioning of projects within and outside the state.

As his administration began to wund up, Mr Frank decided to carry the Artwork from the office of the chief of staff so as to discover when best to present it to His Excellency, since the Chief of Staff was appeased with this work, stating that His Excellency will like such Artwork because it is a perfect representation of what he represent both at national and international levels.

Notwithstanding, Mr Frank discuss it with his friend that also works in Rivers State government house, who suggested to connect him with one Ambassador Chijioke Ihunwo; Leader of National Youth Council (NYC) Rivers State and South-South Region.

Few days later, Mr Frank met with Amb. Chijioke in a close door meeting; who suggested that presentation of this artwork would be good during the State Banquet coming up in soonest. But that He would contact him once the day draws closer. As the date drew closer, Mr Frank (The Young Artist) called him, of which he responded and informed him to meet him up in a particular location. The Artist obliged and went in the company of three other persons to stand as eye witnesses to whatever that would be discussed in the meeting. On arrival, Amb Chijioke was already seated in a meeting with some other youth leaders deliberating on other issues. Shortly, Mr Frank and his team were called upon and in the course of the meeting, it was decided that the Artwork will be presented on 31st May, 2023 since Obio/AKPOR Council leaders were planning a Grand Reception Ceremony in honour of our illustrious Son; Chief (Bar) Nyesom Ezenwo Wike. It was in that same round table gentle-man meeting, that the modalities was discussed. That was fair to Mr Frank, being a simple man that seeks the progress of others.

Finally, the Artwork was presented on 31st May 2023 as planned, and was happily received by His Excellency and ordered that it should be taken to where his convoy of vehicles were parked. Few minutes later, an order was made that the Artwork should be taken to the residence of His Excellency at Ada-George, PH; which was taken in the company of some security personnels.

As we got to the house of His Excellency, the Chief Security Officer (CSO) ordered that the work should be taken inside while Mr Frank and his team waited outside the gate until His Excellency drove in with his guest. Shortly, Amb Chijioke went immediately and after a while, came and told the Artist that His Excellency was tired and that he wants to sleep and that he (Amb Chijioke Ihunwo) can’t wait because he has other engagements but that he would call the Artist the following day.

Nigerians, do you know that ever since 31st May 2023 till date, Amb Chijioke have never called this Young Artist rather the Artist has been the one calling him and has never taken his calls nor even return all his messages.

Mr Frank A Kelechi is therefore appealing to His Excellency and the general public to come to his business rescue owing that he has done some similar work for other outstanding leaders in the past and has been handfully appreciated and rewarded. Why would this work which he decided to do for his own state governor; whom he loves and admires a lot becomes a challenge to the point of causing him to go bankrupt.
