The Young Progressive Party (YPP) House of Assembly candidate for Bende South in the 2023 general elections, Comrade Ugochukwu Nwankwo has resigned his membership from his political party, pjtvnews reports.
In a letter dated 18th of August, 2023 and addressed to his ward chairman, Ugochukwu stated that, his decision to tender his resignation letter is coming after due consultations with his supporters, well wishers and family members.
“Our sojourn in YPP was worthwhile but this is time to move on and look on the brighter side!”
Though, in his letter, Ugochukwu Nwankwo did not state his next line of political move as many had expected but we want to believe that, in the coming days, his next political party might be made known to the public.

I Have Resigned From YPP!
My name is Comrade Ugochukwu Nwankwo, the House of Assembly Candidate of The Young Progressives Party for Bende South State Constituency in the 2023 General Election!
This is to formally inform the General public, my family friends and followers that I have formally and officially resigned my membership of the Young Progressives Party YPP!
This decision was taken after due consultation with all my supporters and well wishers!
Our sojourn in YPP was worthwhile but this is time to move on and look on the brighter side!
Let’s keep hope alive as we look up to God for guidance and direction!
