Okada Rider, Orji Felix Involved In An Accident With Government House Driver Is Alive and Stable

Okada Rider, Orji Felix Involved In An Accident With Government House Driver Is Alive and Stable The 18-year-old Okader rider, Orji Felix, who was involved in an accident with Government House driver around Old Soldier Junction, Ebem Ohafia, yesterday, is alive, stable and receiving treatment at Federal Medical Centre, Umuahia.

The Chief Medical Director of FMC Umuahia, Prof. Onyebuchi Azubuike, acting on the directive of His Excellency, Dr. Alex Chioma Otti OFR, to ensure full treatment of the victim, ordered the Orthopedic Surgeon on duty, Dr. Chioma Jonathan to ensure that the slated leg surgery of the patient is performed today, no matter what.

He made this known when the Chief Press Secretary to the Deputy Governor, Mr. Chukwudi Eke Mba paid a visit to the victim to ascertain his current health condition to allay fears in the public domain of the victim’s death peddled by rumor mongers. The CMD, FMC Umuahia, who personally took Mr. Chukwudi Eke Mba to see and interact with the patient, assured of the hospital’s commitment to ensuring adequate treatment, care and attention to patients admitted into the hospital.

Interacting with the victim, Orji Felix said he is from Ogwuma village in Afikpo South Local Government Area of Ebonyi State, and thanked God for saving his life. With him at the hospital is Chinyere Felix, the elder sister, who is there to provide care, expressed optimism about her brother’s quick recovery.

With the permission of the patient (Orji Felix), and his elder sister (Chinyere Felix), photographs of his present condition was taken to allay fears in the public domain that the victim had died during the accident.
