Nigerian Bar Association, Ahoada branch Holds her annual Gala Nite in Abuja

The Ahoada branch Nigerian Bar Association (the Family Bar), on the sidelines of the 2023 Annual General Conference of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA/AGC) in Abuja, on the 30th of August, 2023, held her annual Ahoada Gala Nite, pjtvnews reports.

It was a well attended event, with the presence of Elder Tuduru Ede (SAN), Elder V. N. Ihua Maduenyi,Esq., Elder Rogers Agbesor,Esq.,A.B Ihua-Maduenyi, Esq, Harvey Ideozu, Esq. Professor Ibibia Worika, Hon. Ben Eke,Esq. (Chairman, Ahoada East Local Government Council), Promise Iwezor (former Chairman, NBA, Isiokpo) , Chief Kingsley Chukwu, (former Secretary, NBA, Port Harcourt branch), Chief Valentine Waripanye Pepple, Amanda Asagba, Esq. (International President, AWLA), Peju Quadri (International secretary, AWLA), and many other dignitaries.

The guests were well entertained and refreshed, as they commended the their host, The Chairman, NBA, Ahoada,NBA, Hilda Desmond-Ihekaire, Ph.D, MCArb for her hospitality and friendliness
In their appreciation, the dignitaries took turns to commend the Chairman for her foresight, sincere and seasoned efforts at rebranding Ahoada Bar, and being a branch to emulate for being gender friendly.

They also congratulated the members of Ahoada branch on their luck of having such a Lady of intellect, knowledge and experience, with respectable and credible connections that will bring Ahoada Bar to the limelight of National and International affairs.

In his remark, Tuduru Ede, SAN, encouraged members of the branch to maintain the unity for which the branch is known.

The highlight of the occasion was a talk on “Emerging Trends and Tips on Successful Legal Practice” by Emeka Onyeka, Esq, FCIA,Uk. The Secretary of NBA National Welfare Committee, Nejagbari Annah, Esq. also enlightened the members and answered questions on the NBA National Health Insurance Scheme,(NHIS.) and undertook to enrol 20 members who were part of the talk free on the NBA NHIS.He further stated that the chairman of the NBA Welfare Commitee Chief Emeka Ozoani, SAN is committed to ensuring that all lawyers enjoy good medical care.
It was indeed a nite of fun, meriment while getting legal tips for the new legal year.

The Chairman of the planning Commitee Damilolo Nwaribe,Esq.MCArb. gave the vote of thanks while NBA 3rd Vice President and AWLA International President Lady Mandy Asagba, Esq. said the closing prayers.
