Anglican Bishop Commends Alex Otti’s Led Administration Within Few Months In Office

The Bishop of Isiala Ngwa Anglican Communion has commended the efforts of Dr. Alex Otti’s led administration within few months in office.

His Grace, Rt. Reverend Temple O. Nwaogu PhD, made this known during a courtesy visit to the Deputy Governor, Engineer Ikechukwu Emetu, FNSE, at Government House, Umuahia. The Bishop maintained that within few months in office, the administration have shown capacity and competence in delivering the dividends of democracy to Abians. He expressed strong believe that the present government will wipe the tears of Abians and bring the desired transformation to God’s own state.

He promised that the Church will not relent in praying for the success of this administration.
The Bishop also used the opportunity to invite the Deputy Governor to her second session of the 6th synod, which comes up in October 2023.

Deputy Governor Ikechukwu Emetu, FNSE, in his response thanked the Bishop for the visit and shared sentiment over the state of affairs in the state.
He reiterated Government’s commitment to fulfill all promises made during the election. He also lauded the crucial roles the church have been playing by inculcating good morals and virtues in the society, which have reduced criminality and other social vices, while imploring the church to continue to pray and give the present administration the much needed support to enable them excel in making life more meaningful for Abians through the provision of basic infrastructure and amenities.

The visit also featured the presentation of a Holy Bible and a Special Prayer Session for the Governor and his Deputy.

Present at the visit were the Deputy Chief of Staff to the Governor, Mr. Chinedu Ekeke, Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Religious Matters, Apostle K.C Wiper, and Aides to the Deputy Governor.
