The member of the House of Representatives representing the good people of Isuikwuato/Umunneochi Federal Constituency of Abia State, Hon Amobi Ogah wins Hon Nkeiruka Onyejeocha at the appeal court, pjtvnews reports.
With this ruling, the Labour Party reps has put to rest, the long time political muscle of Hon Barr Nkeiruka Onyejeocha who has represented her people for a period of 16years.
Hon Barr Nkeiruka Onyejeocha who’s the Minister of State for Labour and Employment, had challenged the victory Hon Amobi Ogah at the election tribunal.
The election tribunal panel removed Amobi Ogah and declared Onyejeocha the winner of election but the decisions of the court was later appealed within 7 days.
On Friday, 3rd of November, 2023, the court of appeal set aside the judgement of the tribunal sitting in Umuahia who removed Amobi Ogah as the duly elected reps of the February election and declared Ogah the authentic winner of the election.
With this, Onyejeocha, who sees herself as the political heavy weight champion of Isuikwuato/Umunneochi has been reduced to “nothing” politically by the Labour Party man, Hon Chief Amobi Godwin Ogah.
Onyejeocha has allegedly boasted on several occasions that, she would vacate the house of representatives seat at her own volition as there’s no body who can defeat her.
