The former Isuikwuato Local Government Area Chairman and a two times transition committee Chairman, Chief Sir Chima Agbaeze has dumped the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), pjtvnews reports.
Agbaeze who served as TC and Executive Chairman of Isuikwuato Local Government Area under the administration of Former Gov of Abia State, Dr Okezie Victor Ikpeazu dropped his resignation letter to his now former party through his ward chairman in ward 4.
In a letter sighted by pjtvnews correspondent, Chima thanked his former party and his ward 4 family for the fantastic opportunity they had together while he was still with the party.
Though, the former chairman is yet to make public his next line of action after dumping PDP, but, some political machineries pointing towards the ruling party, All Progressive Congress, APC.
As it stands now, it seems there are no political heavy weights in Abia PDP again as the erosion of defections has swept the party with heavy thunderstorms in the state.
In few days time, more people are also expected to decamp as over 50 stakeholders have already abandoned the PDP vehicle to a moving vehicle as the party capsized during the 2023 general elections.
The letter reads in part, “I wish to thank you and all members of PDP Isuamawu ward 4, Isuikwuato LGA family for the fantastic opportunity we had”
He concluded by thanking the party for his services and contributions to the party.
