Hon Amobi Ogah Visits Abia State College of Health and Sciences Management Technology, AbaThe member representing the good people of Isuikwuato/Umunneochi Federal Constituency, Hon Amobi Ogah has paid a courtesy visit to Abia State College of Health and Sciences Management Technology, Aba yesterday, 14th of June, 2024.

He was received by the school management, the 22 beneficiaries of his scholarship programmes and other dignitaries.

The Rector of the school, Dr Okezie Aloy E, thanked Amobi Ogah for finding out time out of his busy schedule to visit the school and also his constituents under his scholarship program as he was unable to make it during the school’s matriculation few weeks ago.

While interacting with the school management, Amobi Ogah stated that, the best way to save this generation is to take them back to classrooms, hence, the major reasons why the foundation was established and awarded hundreds of scholarships to students of Isuikwuato/Umunneochi Federal Constituency.

Within his one year in office, hundreds of indigent students of his constituents have been awarded scholarships and more are still on the pipeline.


He hinted that, the 22 beneficiaries of the foundation’s scholarship program in Abia State College of Health and Sciences Management Technology, Aba were drawn from the 22 wards in Isuikwuato/Umunneochi Federal Constituency.

The foundation, he said was established sometime in October, 2023 with the sole mandate of giving educational support to indigent children of Isuikwuato/Umunneochi Federal Constituency.

The foundation started up with 154 WAEC enrollments for the indigent students within the constituency, immediately after which he registered over 100 students for JAMB.

He also awarded 66 students full scholarship to study at Federal College of Agriculture, Ishiagu in Ebonyi State.

Ogah then approved a study grants for every tertiary institution students of Isuikwuato/Umunneochi origin scattered all over tertiary institutions in Nigeria. He noted that, over 3000 students are going to benefit from the grant as approved by Amobi Ogah through his foundation.

He was accompanied by the Director General of Amobi Ogah Education Foundation, Mr Promise Ude PhD and Mr Juachi Ochu.

The high point of the visitation was when the 22 beneficiaries gave the honorable member a touching vote of thanks for all he has been doing to his constituents and many others.

Members of the school management present are the Rector, Dr Okezie Aloy E, Deputy Rector, Comrade Obieze Obinuko, Registrar, Elder Barthlomew Onyeochonaku, Chief Liberia, Mr Ugochukwu Echeribe, Dir of Quality Assurance and Control, Sir Ezeajolam, Acting Dean of School of Applied Sciences, Dr Victor Enyinnaya, Dean School of Health Sciences, Joy Ikpeazu, Dir of Sewage, Dr Ifeagbu Orji, Dir of Consultancy, Mr Obasi Onwuchekwa, HOD Public Administration, Mr Ukeje Ifeanyi, Head of Admissions, Mr Kingsley Onuoha, Dir of Academic Planning, Dr Vincent Igbojionu and Head of Medical Services, Dr Meje Lucy.
