The Abia State Social Democratic Party (SDP) governorship candidate in the just concluded elections, and also the founder of The SHOGNA Foundations, Chief Dr Ngozika Johnson-Ogbuneke has mourned the death of Ohanaeze Ndigbo President General, Chief Engr Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu, pjtvnews reports.
Chief Engr Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu was reported dead yesterday, 25th July, 2024 after a brief illness at an undisclosed location.
In a message sent to pjtvnews correspondent by Dr Ngozika Johnson-Ogbuneke, she described the late President General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide as a distinguished figure in the country and a paragon of excellence.
She also reveals that, the death of Iwuamyanwu was a great lost to his immediate family, Ndi Igbo and the country at large as she extend her profound condolences to his immediate family, the people of Imo State and Ndigbo worldwide.

It is with deep sadness that I received the News of the passing of Chief Engr Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu, Ahaejiagamba Ndi-Igbo, President-General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide.
This profound loss casts a shadow of mourning over Ndigbo, the South East and Nigeria as a whole.
Chief Iwuanyanwu was a distinguished figure in the country, a paragon of excellence, excelling in multiple spheres; business, political leadership, and community service. He was a passionate advocate for Nigerian voices, particularly the Igbos, using his platform, the Champion Newspaper, to promote unity and peace among Ndigbo and the nation.
Chief Engr Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu was with us in Ohanaeze UK last July 22nd 2023, We hosted him. However by July 25th 2024, we hear of his demise.
