Sen Emma Nwaka hinted that, politics to him was about service to the public, hence, he does not have to be involved in any partisan political activities to render services to his people.
He went further to explain that, if in the future, it becomes necessary for him to align with any partisan political platform, he will not hesitate to share the news with his constituents, the public, and the press.
“As you all know, it is not in my nature to hop from one political party to another. I’ve been with PDP since it was formed over 24 years ago. I’ve now firmly resolved, for entirely personal reasons,to pull back and take stock.”
He concluded by saying that, he had thought he could go quietly just the way he joined the party, but with invitations to PDP activities, which he has been declining politely and prodding from his allies to declare his stand, he decided to make known his resignation which took place long before now.
