The Association was led by the President – Comr Alago Ekene Livinus, the Secretary – Iroegbu Chinonso Cynthia, and other executive members. Their objective was to familiarise themselves with the Amobi Ogah Education Foundation and seek sundry assistance from the Foundation.
The DG of the Foundation, Dr Promise Udeh, thanked them for the visit and explained the workings and achievements of the Foundation in the past one year of it’s existence to include: award of 22 Scholarship to Isuikwuato/Umunneochi Students at Abia State College of Health Sciences and Management Technology Aba, as well as the award of 66 Scholarship to Isuikwuato/Umunneochi Students at Federal College of Agriculture, Ishiagu. Others include 154 WAEC and 102 JAMB Fee cleared by Hon Amobi Ogah (member representing Isuikwuato/Umunneochi Federal Constituency) in 2024.
The D.G explained that aside from numerous ongoing projects sponsored by Hon Ogah; such as the construction of a hospital complex in Umunneochi, upgrade of Isuikwuato General Hospital, approval for reconstruction and upgrade of Achara Hospital into an Annex of the Federal Medical Center, the Education Foundation will continue to support Isuikwuato/Umunneochi Students studying in various schools in Nigeria with grants and other benefits.
