Hon. Amobi Godwin Ogah, Member Representing Isuikwuato/ Umunneochi Federal Constituency, has paid the WAEC fees for 225 secondary school students who passed mock examination across 14 schools in his constituency.
This gesture is part of Hon. Ogah’s commitment to supporting parents who cannot afford to pay fees, and to ensure that no student is denied access to education due to financial constraints. The payment will be made yearly, providing consistent support to students in his constituency.
It would be recalled that the Honorable Member currently has 88 Fully Funded scholarship beneficiaries drawn from all the wards in his Constituency under sponsorship at Abia State College of Health Sciences and Management Technology Aba, Federal college of Agriculture Ishiagu, and several other institutions, and recently, in December 2024, embarked on the distribution of school and learning materials such as Magnetic boards, exercise books, food flasks, mathematical sets, markers, writing materials, staplers and so many other items distributed to pupils and students of various secondary schools in Isuikwuato/Umunneochi”.
Hon. Ogah also commended his Education Director General, Dr. Promise Udeh, for his hard work and commitment to the vision of Hon Ogah in ensuring that various communities in the Constituency feels the positive drives of the federal lawmaker especially as it concerns the education sector.
“I urge other well-to-do Nigerians to follow suit and support students in their respective constituencies,” said Hon. Ogah. “Education is the key to unlocking the potential of our youth, and it is our collective responsibility to ensure that every student has access to quality education.”
