The Executive Governor of Abia State, Dr. Alex Chioma Otti, has hailed the Obidient Movement as a beacon of hope for a New Nigeria. Speaking at the public presentation of the book “Obi, the Political Change Agent,” authored by Ike Abonyi, Governor Otti commended Peter Obi’s leadership qualities and encouraged Nigerians to support credible leaders in the 2027 elections.
Represented by the Abia State National Assembly Liaison Officer, Hon. Ifeanyi Frank Chinasa, Governor Otti praised the author for documenting a revolution that reflects Nigeria’s yearning for truth, integrity, and reform. He described Peter Obi as “integrity and character personified,” noting that his life and leadership style inspire a new wave of conscientious governance.
Hon. Chinasa highlighted Peter Obi’s vision for rebuilding Nigeria’s broken system, focusing on economic recovery, institutional transparency, and infrastructure renewal. He drew parallels between Obi’s ideals and the transformation underway in Abia State under Governor Otti’s leadership, citing transparent governance, fiscal discipline, and people-centered development as reflections of Peter Obi’s values.
The book presentation, held at the NAF Conference Centre in Abuja, drew prominent political figures, civil society leaders, academics, and members of the Obidient Movement. The event served as a reminder that Nigeria’s renaissance depends on challenging the status quo and building a nation that works for all.
