According to Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC), Abia State has recorded three (3) new cases of coronavirus (covid-19).
Recall that Abia State had earlier recorded two (2) cases of covid-19 some weeks back, a woman and a man with some underline medical history. One of the patients was discharged after she had fully recovered from the virus, and tested negative twice before the patient was discharged.
So, the total number of active cases in Abia State is now four. No death has been recorded yet in the state.
Meanwhile, NCDC has recorded another new 338 cases of covid-19 in Nigeria, as posted on their official Twitter handle with Lagos and Kano States taking the lead with 177 and 64 respectively.
So, the total number of comfirmed covid-19 cases in Nigeria as at today is 5959, and the total number of discharged persons is 1594 with 182 deaths persons so far.
