Our attention has been drawn to a purported communiqué released by some shylocks masquerading as PDP Arochukwu LGA Stakeholders.
It is rather curious that their communiqué didn’t include the venue of their meeting which is tactical to envelope the lie told by the host about the intention of their meeting.
The meeting as held under the watchful eye of the serving Provost ASECTA Dr Phillips Nto against the plea of the Governor and Party Leaders in Abia State on the need for unity and togetherness among members. But the dissidents went ahead on this voyage.
To us this is the height of political rascality and brazeness exhibited by an appointee of the Governor.
Going by the words of Dr. Philip Ntoo, his friends gathered for his housewarming party and now are issuing communique political from the said house warming.
This notorious group commonly referred by the grassroots in Arochukwu LGA in general as “Arochukwu Ward 12” Umuahia based politicians have refused to learn their lessons.
It is quite funny that the group rather than look inward and amend their ways by joining hands with progressives in the LGA but rather they still continue in their weak approach of apportioning blames while our 2019 Senatorial candidate lost in the General election.
Is it not shameful that these set of characters who claims to have the powers of life and death in the political affairs of Arochukwu LGA to in the last General election could not deliver their principal who then a serving senator and the senatorial candidate in his polling unit upto the entire Arochukwu Local Government Area. This is despite having all the party and Government structures in Arochukwu LGA. All they could do was deliver only “800 votes to a then serving senator ” in the entire Arochukwu Local Government.
We wish to point out that at this moment, Rt. Hon. Uko Nkole is not only representing Arochukwu/Ohafia in the NASS but also serve as the eye of PDP members from Abia North in National Assembly and by extension the Federal level. And his performance is not in any way in doubt at any capacity. It is despicable that while Governments worldwide is still battling on the existential challenge posed by the COVID 19 pandemic, your FOLLOW WATER group is already busy with permutations for 2023 Governorship in Abia State, even as this Follow water group delivered the worst election result in the history of the 4th democratic election that couldnt even muster upto 1000 votes in the entire Arochukwu LGA that has over 50000 registered VOTERS for their master in the last senatorial election. They controlled all the funds made available to mobilize party faithful for the election without giving a dime to the House of Representatives member who was also a candidate in the election.
We must state categorically here that Uko Nkole is a FACTOR in the political space of Abia North and not a match to the Former Three quarter years Tenure Senator of Abia North and his hirelings championed by Dr Phillip Nto.
While we await the pendency of their suite against the Governor of Abia state at the high court, we advice them to dissipate these energies they waste in frivolities to meaningful venture that will enhance the chances of their preferred party in elections , like seeking to know how to win their polling units which they consistently lose to their opponent(s).
A word is enough for the smart. We expect them to join hands with the new executives to move PDP Arochukwu LGA, higher.
They are warned to resist the temptation of continuously showing disrespect to our Governor who is our leader and deputy chairman PDP Governors forum.
To the general public please note that PDP Arochukwu LGA is intact and gaining traction under Uko Nkole’s Watch and the people are happy.
For the follow water group one advice you either Shape In or Shape Out.
Thank you
Uwaoma Uche Ph.D
(Associate Professor)
Chairman PDP Arochukwu LGA Stakeholders Forum.
