The Lagos State Commissioner for Health, Prof Akin Abayomi has tested positive to Coronavirus (COVID-19), profjaysblog reports.
This development was made known by the Senior Special Assistant on New Media to the Lagos State Governor on his official twitter handle, Mr Jubril Aremu Gawat.
According to him, the Commissioner for Health, Prof Akin Abayomi is doing well with no symptoms and will begin his 14 days self isolation at his home and also begin home care immediately.
It was further revealed that the Commissioner, Akin Abayomi will continue to discharge his duties as Deputy Incident Commander.
