Lagos State Police Command has charged an unidentified young man to court for allegedly slapping a policeman on duty twice, profjaysblog learnt.
The incident was said to have taken place along Governor’s road, Alausa, Ikeja area of Lagos State.
The man whose identity was not revealed was also accused of threatening a police team on December 6 after causing an accident.
According to an update by the police on Tuesday, the defendant pleaded not guilty and has been remanded till January 20, 2021.
The defendant is being prosecuted by the Alausa Police Station.
