The Honorable member representing Isuikwuato/Umunneochi Federal Constituency at the green chamber, Hon Amobi Ogah has made a passionate appeal to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to release Nnamdi Kanu from detention, pjtvnews reports.

Amobi Ogah made this appeal on Channels shortly after a close door meeting with Dr Alex Otti at the Governor’s country home in Isiala Ngwa Local Government Area of Abia State.

Amobi posited that, the insecurity in south east was as a result of his (Nnamdi Kanu) prolong detention.

He further explained that, the release of Nnamdi Kanu will expose certain criminal gangs that are using his detention to cover their acts of terrorism in the south east region.

“The president has done so much but the only disagreement I have is him, giving us only five (5) ministers in the entire south east region. I think, the President should have balanced it to show that, really, he loved us”

“I was telling the world that, Mr President loves us but the only way he can show that love is to give us Nnamdi Kanu by releasing him, so, that, insecurity in the south east will be reduced drastically.”

He concluded by praying to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to give us Nnamdi Kanu as a gift, if it means that’s going to be the best gift he can give to us as Igbo nation.
