Court Remands Two Brothers For Killing Their Uncle In Kwara

Two brothers, Musa Idris and Aliyu Idris have been arraigned before an Ilorin Magistrates’ Court for allegedly k!illing their uncle, Muhammed Abubakar.

The suspects were arraigned for the offences of culpable homicide and criminal conspiracy, which contravened Sections 97 and 221 of the penal code.

According to the Police First Information Report (FIR), the suspects aged 25 and 20 respectively, criminally conspired to attack their uncle, Mohammed Abubakar, 54, and macheted him to dea@th in Kaiama local government area of the state.

“Investigation conducted at SCID, Ilorin, revealed that the suspects wanted to attack their father over a little misunderstanding which led to the intervention of the uncle.,”
