The member representing the good people of Isuikwuato/Umunneochi Federal Constituency under Labour Party, Chief Hon Amobi Ogah has withdrawn from being the Chairman of Isuikwuato Local Government Area Campaign Council for Chinedu Ekeke and Ifeanyi Njoko under Zenith Labour Party, pjtvnews reports.

His withdrawal was based on the facts that, the honorable member was not officially informed about his inclusion by his Excellency, Dr Alex Otti to champion the campaign of the candidates of Zenith Labour Party for the local govt election.

Read the press statement released by Chief Hon Amobi Godwin Ogah below;

Please my dear brothers, Chinedu Ekeke and Ifeanyi Njoko I wish to use this medium to inform you that I read the inclusion of my name as the Chairman of your campaign council under Zenith Labour Party in the forthcoming LGA elections for Isuikwuato LGA. I appreciate your believe in me to lead this onerous task.
Regrettably, be informed that I cannot champion this cause due to the following reasons;
1. I am holding the mandate of the people of Isuikwuato/Umunneochi Federal Constituency under Labour Party.
2. The State Government under the leadership of His Excellency, Dr Alex Chioma Otti OFR has not officially directed support for Zenith Labour Party (ZLP).
Accept my withdrawal in good faith and best of lucks to your aspirations.
The inconveniences caused by my withdrawal to you and other members of the council is highly regrettable.
