Mazi Chukwuma Ubaji Amaram also known as ShaFT, an indigene of Eluama in Isuikwuato has described the newly elected Isuikwuato Local Government Chairman, Hon Chinedu Ekeke as the new sheriff in Isuikwuato.
ShaFT, a media activist, consultant and a public affairs analyst has described the emergence of Ekeke as one with enormous task ahead.
Read what shaft has to say about Chinedu Ekeke below;
1. Today, Monday, November 4, 2024, a new chapter has opened and a new era ushered in, in the political cum administrative trajectories of Isuikwuato LGA, Abia State . A new dispensation is now inaugurated to take charge of affairs in Isuikwuato LGA, constitutionally and statutorily displacing or replacing the preceding dispensation under the charge of AVM (Retired) Chinwendu Onyike.
2. Hon. Chinedu Ekeke, by virtue of clinching the Chairmanship seat and office of Isuikwuato LGA, in the November 2nd, 2024, ABSIEC organized Abia State wide LGA Elections, is today, the new Sheriff, and the new political boss, in Isuikwuato LGA. It didn’t come easy though, on a platter of gold.
3. The critical tasks ahead and before Hon. Chinedu Ekeke’s leadership and administration, are no doubt enormous, challenging, but by no means insurmountable. With vision, proper focus, commitment and dedication, or driven by effective coordinations, seamless synergies, and meaningful consultations with the strategic stakeholders, comprising the political class and stalwarts, Ndi Eze, Town Unions leaders, Trade Unions leaders, business leaders and business community, Academia, Youths, Women groups, Civil Society organizations, and other critical segments of stakeholders in Isuikwuato LGA, the arrays of multivarious tasks to be addressed, can be streamlined and accorded adequate attention.
4. Effective collaborations, extensive synergies with critical stakeholders and development partners drawn from outside the confines of Isuikwuato LGA, are highly desirable and relevant for the actualization of the agenda and programs on the templates of Ekeke’s administration.
5. The Governor’s Inaugural Speech/Address, presented today, designed for the guidance of the newly sworn in Chairmen and administrations, particularly in the context of effective and efficient services deliveries, resonated well and contained valuable nuggets, that can be highly beneficial to the new LGA bosses. It is sincerely hoped, the high expectations of the Governor and the great confidence reposed on the new Sheriffs shall not be dashed or squandered in the end.
6. Specifically, worthy of note or mention, are paragraphs 15 and 16 of the Governor’s Speech. The general contexts and contents of the Speech sounded very impressively more like a Lecture. I hope the new bosses make the Speech a constant companion and pay heed always to paragraphs 15 and 16.
7. In my candid opinion, considering the rare opportunities and privileges or the vast repertoire of valuable experience gained directly by Hon. Chinedu Ekeke, in the course of working closely under the supervision of the Governor, in the erstwhile capacity and role as the Deputy Chief of Staff (DCoS), Government House, Umuahia, I have no doubts in the abilities, capacities, capabilities, and competencies of Hon. Chinedu Ekeke, the Executive Chairman of Isuikwuato LGA, to surpass the expectations of Ndi Isuikwuato LGA, through exceptional performance, to justify the overwhelming mandate of Ndi Isuikwuato LGA, expressed in the polls.
8. On behalf of Ndi Isuikwuato LGA, who are justifiably filled with high hopes to experience and taste the great dividends of democratic leadership at the strategic Grassroots tier of governance structure and system, here is wishing Hon. Chinedu Ekeke and his team, truly exciting, eventful, results-oreinted tenureship in office.
9. Collectively, with maximum support, Ndi Isuikwuato are saying: CONGRATULATIONS, and LEAD US TO THE PROMISED LAND OR TO THE LAND OF PROMISE.
