Prophet G.I.C Nsiegbe, the general overseer of Christ Mustard Mission Church situated in Ogbunqbali, Rivers State has weighed in on the ongoing crisis in Rivers State, pointing to three major quests by former Governor Nyesom Wike as the root cause of the problem. According to Prophet Nsiegbe, Wike’s quests for personal interest, resource control, and maintenance of democratic structures have derailed the state’s democratic system, pjtvnew gathered.
The prophet noted this during the celebration party of his son’s matriculation at his residence in Port Harcourt. He pointed that unlike past governors, Wike is fighting to maintain his structures even after leaving office. This desire for personal aggrandizement has put the state in a difficult situation. The prophet warned that Wike’s actions are against the will of God and will ultimately fail.
Prophet Nsiegbe urged President Tinubu to reconsider the state of emergency in Rivers State, which he believes was unnecessary. He stated that before the proclamation, the state was calm, and it was only the rumors of the emergency rule that stirred up reactions.
Nsiegbe declared that Governor Sim Fubara was chosen by God to rebuild Rivers State. He stated that Fubara is not a criminal and has come to develop the state, empower its people, and rebuild its human capacity. The prophet highlighted Fubara’s achievements in agriculture, education, and employment, and warned against suspending him or his allies.

As someone who has had the privilege of knowing this wonderful family for sometimes now, I couldn’t be more thrilled to see their child take this significant step in his academic journey.

I pray that Chizarum will not only excel in his studies but also go on to become a successful lawyer, making his parents proud and giving glory to God.
In conclusion, Prophet Nsiegbe emphasized that God has the final say in the affairs of Rivers State, and that no other political structure will stand except that which Governor Fubara has built.
