The Abia State Chairman of Social Democratic Party (SDP), Mr Edward Ezenwoke has been suspended by the State Executive Committee over grave allegations of financial impropriety, misappropriation of funds, abuse of office and gross incompetence, pjtvnews gathered.
The suspension of Ezenwoke was followed by a resolution reached by the Expanded State Executive Committee (SEC) on 20th of June, 2025.
The suspension is with immediate effect and Hon Ikemefula Ikechukwu Ochuba has been appointed as the acting Chairman of the party with immediate effect.
whilst investigations by the National Body of the party (SDP) is on-going, the general public is by this notice advised to stop any dealings with Mr Edward Ezenwoke and direct their inquiries to the acting Chairman of the Party, Hon Ikemefula Ikechukwu Ochuba.
