
The Abuja Chief Liaison and National Assembly Liaison Officer, Hon Iheanyi Frank Chinasa, has reassured the people of Umuenyere Alayi in Bende Local Government Area, affected by a gully erosion that recently cut off the road linking Ozara Market with Okoko Item, of government intervention.
Hon Chinasa, an illustrious son of Bende, empathized with the locals whose daily business enterprises have been affected by the menace, conveying Governor Alex Otti’s commitment to providing lasting solutions to such issues affecting the lives of Abians.
In a statement, the Chief Liaison Officer sympathized with the people, assuring them of government intervention. He confirmed that the Governor, in collaboration with relevant agencies, will take decisive steps to address the erosion menace and restore normalcy to the area.
Hon Chinasa recalled that Governor Otti’s proactive drive in tackling ecological problems is evident through the completed Ovom erosion control project and the ongoing partnership with NEWMAP towards remedial works at the Uzuakoli erosion sites.
He reassured residents that government intervention will soon bring lasting relief, urging them to remain patient and hopeful as Governor Otti works tirelessly to address the ecological menace and improve their living conditions.
