Former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar has paid a condolence visit to former Governor of Kaduna State, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai at his Abuja residence on Saturday.
El-Rufai had lost his mother on Friday afternoon following age-related health challenges, which worsened in recent times.
The former governor was released from the custody of the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission, ICPC immediately after the news of his mother’s death broke.
He earlier received former Governor of Rivers State, Rotimi Amaechi, former Accountant General of the Federation, AGF Abubakar Malami and a host of other top leaders mainly from the opposition.
