The Abia North coordinator of E GO GO AGAIN2019 KURUTU MOVEMENT, BOT member, Isuikwuato communities Youth Forum and founder Lucky Johnson education foundation Ogbuefi Lucky Johnson, in an unprecedented event and in support of Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu, gave out N50,000.00 (Fifty thousand naira) each to 30 (Thirty) Isuikwuato students from various institutions of higher learning.
On the 27th day of December 2018, at Obayi Ovim hall, THE ISUIKWUATO COMMUNITIES YOUTH FORUM in conjunction with LUCKY JOHNSON EDUCATION FOUNDATION hosted a youth summit tagged “THE ROLE OF YOUTH IN ENSURING POLITICAL SECURITY”( with Isuikwuato Youths as the reference). In addition; 30 students who scored highest out of the over 300 participants, in a Gmat test administered by Lucky Johnson Educational foundation, won N50,000.00 each. The Students who didn’t fall within the first-thirty were given stipends for transportation. Free application forms were distributed to the students over a month ago.
Dignitaries who graced the occasion included *Hon. Darlington Nwokeocha, the member representing the good people of Isialangwa North and South federal constituency. *Hon. Obinna Ekekwe, Commissioner for strategy and social development. *Dr. Mrs Nnenna Obewu, the DG. Abia women mobilization agency. *Hon. Michael Ibe Nwoke, Special adviser to the Governor and founder E GO GO AGAIN 2019 KURUTU MOVEMENT was represented by Hon. Chief Eric Ikwuagwu, Special adviser to the Governor, Coordinator Kurutu Movement and BOT member Isuikwuato communities Youth Forum. *Prince Chibuike Echem, National vice president, National Youth Council of Nigeria, *Hon. Chima Agbaeze, Special adviser to the Governor, founder Ekwedasieike. *Com. Anthony Okoye, the National president ISUIKWUATO COMMUNITIES YOUTH FORUM etc. Speaking respectively, the dignitaries admonished the students to be good ambassadors of Isuikwuato and their families. They were charged to shun cultism, prostitution, other vices that could truncate their educational pursuit and never allow themselves to be used as thugs during and after elections. They were encouraged to participate actively in politics and vote candidates of their choices.
The high point was the presentation of the N50,000.00 bursary to each of the winning students by the special guest of honour, Chief Hon. Darlington Nwokocha (darloo).
Afterwards, Hon. Obinna Ekekwe led the delegation of the Youth leaders, Oguefi lucky Johnson and Hon. Chief Eric Ikwuagwu for a courtesy call on Gen. Azubuike Ihejirika, at his Ovim country home. The visibly elated living security legend, a harbinger of immense history and Army Engineer of repute, General Azubuike Ihejirika, a former chief of Army staff, thanked Lucky Johnson for such level of philanthropic gesture to the youths. He was impressed by the mode of selection of winners, which was transparent and standard. He encouraged the youths not to relent in striving for the best. The delegation tapped from the General’s rich wealth of experience. Finally, the General reiterated that “physical infrastructures could dilapidate and be repaired after many years but when human infrastructure dilapidates, the impact is always disastrous” He calls on every Government both states and federal to invest more of human capital development.
