A Federal High Court sitting in Abuja has granted Senator Dino Melaye bail after the Police arrested him. He was granted bail due to his ill health.
Melaye was arrested for an allegation of culpable homicide involving a Policeman in Kogi State. According to the Police, the officer is still on the hospital bed.
The Police laid a siege on Melaye’s residence for 8 days before he eventually surrendered.
He was admitted to the Police Clinic before being transferred to the DSS Hospital in Abuja.
The Kogi West Senator has claimed to be sick, but the Police have declared tests conducted on the lawmaker all proved negative.
