The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has postponed the presidential and the governorship elections to 23rd of February and 9th of March 2019 respectively.
The commission met on the 15th of February 2019 to review her readiness and later came to a conclusion that they are behind in the areas of logistics. The commission will meet with key stakeholders today 16th February, 2019 by 2pm.
