[Photos] Rain of Goodies: Jubilations as Alex Ikwechegh Celebrates Children’s Day in Aba

There were wild jubilations today after a renowned Nigerian philanthropist and business mogul, Chief Alex Ikwechegh joined pupils to celebrate the children’s day.

Igbere TV reports that the former Chairman of Abia North stormed many schools in Abia North and South with a lot of goodies for the children.

Some of the items he shared include, thousands of exercise books, Hundreds of school bags, and hundreds of sandals, which are all Aba made.

The business mogul also joined the pupils for their match pass at Abia Poly ground, which made the children happy.

During the visit, Ikwechegh charged the pupils to be of good moral behaviour. He also urged the students to take their studies serious.

“I’m happy being in your midst today. I know today is a special day for you all and that’s why I decided to come and celebrate it with you “.

“Education is the key to achieve great things in life and that’s you all need to take your studies serious. Don’t let anything to tamper with your studies”.

“Make sure you read and if you don’t understand, always come to your teachers for more explanations. Remember to always respect your parents and elders “.

After celebrating the children’s day, Ikwechegh also visited his foundation office,” Alex Ikwechegh Foundation “at 74 Jubilee, Aba, Abia State.

Igbere TV reports that a mammot crowd numbering over 1000 people came out to welcome Ikwechegh because of the good works and impact he made through his foundation.

The massive crowd caused traffic logjam along Jubilee Road for several minutes.

Ikwechegh while addressing the crowd said his foundation will keep on helping the indigent ones in the state.

He said the foundation has mapped out a program and in few months, more students will be given scholarships.
