The Abia State House of Assembly has confirmed the nomination of John Okiyi Kalu as commissioner
Confirming the nomination, the speaker, Rt. Hon. Chinedum Orji cited the letter from the Governor asking the house to screen and confirm the nominee, which the house did during the executive session.
Chief Okiyi-kalu was later proclaimed and confirmed by the house as Commissioner.
