The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Governorship aspirant, Great Joshua Maclver has defected to All Progressive Congress (APC) house after loosing the PDP primaries to Douye Diri PROFJAYSBLOG reports.

PROFJAYSBLOG learnt Mr Great Joshua Maclver defected to APC barely 24hours after he lost to Senator Douye Diri in the primary election. The bayelsa state governorship election election is slated for November 16 2019.

According to Maclver, he is to join hands and form “great” alliance with Chief David Lyon, candidate of the APC in the Nov. 16 gubernatorial election, to “flush” the PDP out of Bayelsa PROFJAYSBLOG reports.

In a letter made available to the Press and addressed to the ward chairman, Olodiama Ward 4, Yenogoa, the governorship aspirant described the reason for his decision as “strictly personal.”

See post below:

TODAY, I OFFICIALLY JOIN THE APC.

I have written a letter to my ward Chairman, Olodiama 02, Ward 04 of my withdrawal from the PDP for personal reasons.
I thank the PDP for giving me the opportunity to be part of a building process from the Ward level, LGA and State at large.

To this end, today, being 5th September, 2019, I have been officially received by the ward Chairman of the APC of my ward where I fulfilled all necessary requirements to register my membership with the party in a bid to pursue a better life for my people.

Finally, I wish everyone to take my decision in good fate and leave my decision of leaving the PDP personal.

God bless Ward 04.
God bless SILGA.
God bless Bayelsa State.
