Mothers Day: Evangel Methodist Church Umuokogbuo Honours Chief Onyinye Rufus-Obi

The Evangel Methodist Church, Umuokogbuo, Isuikwuato in Abia State has honored Chief Onyinye Rufus-Obi as The Mother of Excellence on Mothering Sunday, a special day set aside to celebrate mothers and motherhood, pjtvnews gathered.

The presiding priest, Rev Henry Chukwu Ukwu thanked all the awardees for the steadfastness and dedication to the things of God and the church. He encouraged them to continue in their faith and services to humality and God.

Other awardees are, Mrs Franca Nnabuko (The Royal Mother of the Year), Mrs Nneoma Esike (The Pillars of Service), Ezinne Obioma Ike (A Virtuous Woman), Mrs Chidimma Uchenna Nnabuko (A Virtuous Mother), Mrs Clara Ugochukwu Kairo (A Virtuous Woman), Ezinne Esther Ochuba (A Faithful Mother), Mrs Victory Chimeruo Kairo (A Virtuous Woman), Mrs Emeruwa Patricia (A Woman of Faith), Lolo Lucy Osinachi Nnabuko (A Virtuous Woman), and Mrs Chinenye Ochuba as The Pillar of Service.

The ceremony concluded with a special prayer session, during which the congregation prayed for Chief Onyinye’s continued good health, strength and guidance as she continues her remarkable work.
