
Abuja, Nigeria – Hon. Iheanyi Frank Chinasa, National Assembly Liaison Officer recently represented Abia State Governor, Dr. Alex Otti at a diplomatic dinner hosted by the Israeli Embassy in Abuja to commemorate Israel’s 77th Independence Anniversary.
The event brought together senior diplomats, political leaders, and representatives from across Nigeria.
Speaking at the event, Hon. Chinasa emphasized the importance of peace for development, citing Abia State’s peaceful atmosphere under Governor Otti’s leadership. He highlighted Abia’s readiness to partner with countries worldwide to boost economic development, attract investment, and create a sustainable environment for enterprise growth.
A cordial exchange between Hon. Chinasa and the Israeli Ambassador symbolized a growing friendship and cultural diplomacy between Abia State and Israel. This diplomatic engagement reflects Abia State’s active participation in global affairs, reinforcing its image as a forward-looking state committed to peace, development, and meaningful international collaboration.
Israeli High Commissioner to Nigeria, Mr. Michael Freeman, reaffirmed Israel’s commitment to peace and stability in the Middle East. He expressed willingness to support Nigeria’s Renewed Hope Agenda and highlighted over 60 years of bilateral relations between Nigeria and Israel.
Hon. Chinasa stated, “Abia is open for business, and we’re ready to partner with countries around the world to drive economic growth and development.” This open-door policy underscores Abia State’s commitment to attracting investment and promoting enterprise growth.
