Former SDP Governorship Candidate, Apostle Dr. Ngozika Johnson-Ogbuneke and Ex-Minister of Mines and Steel Development, Dr. Uche Sampson Ogah Visit Governor Alex Otti

The former 2023 Governorship Candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) in Abia State – Apostle Dr. Ngozika Gladys Johnson-Ogbuneke, alongside former Minister of State for Mines and Steel Development – Dr. Uche Sampson Ogah, on Thursday, February 19, 2026, paid a courtesy visit to the Governor of Abia State, Dr Alex Chioma Otti, at his country home in Mvosi, Isiala Ngwa South Local Government Area of the State.

The visit was aimed at encouraging the Governor to sustain his administration’s efforts in rebuilding and transforming Abia State.

Speaking during the meeting, Apostle Dr Johnson-Ogbuneke expressed admiration for the developmental and structural strides recorded under Governor Otti’s leadership, noting that the visible transformation across the state is commendable.

She stated that if she had been elected in 2023, she would have pursued similar policies focused on infrastructural development, transparency, and sustainable growth. She further pledged her support to the Governor’s vision for continued progress in Abia State.

The delegation further
felicitated with Governor Otti on the occasion of his birthday, wishing him many more years in good health, strength, and wisdom in service to God Elohim and to the Good people of Abia State.

The meeting was described as cordial and forward-looking, reflecting a shared commitment to the continued growth and development of Abia State.
