Abia Consolidated: The Great Re-alignment as Apostle Dr Ngozika Johnson-Chukwunenye, Dr Uche Ogah, Others Join Otti's Campaign Advisory Council

The Executive Governor of Abia State, His Excellency Dr. Alex Chioma Otti, OFR, in a masterstroke of political inclusivity and strategic consolidation ahead of the 2027 general elections, has further expanded the weight and reach of his Labour Party Campaign Advisory Council (CAC) with the appointment of additional well-meaning, politically astute, and highly influential personalities whose alignment speaks volumes of his sterling performance. Most striking among these new appointments is the former Governorship Candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) in the 2023 elections, the ebullient and widely respected Apostle Dr. Ngozika Gladys Johnson-Chukwunenye -A SHINING LIGHT herself.

Her decision to align with the Labour Party is not a mere political defection, but a profound, principled and visionary alignment; not an abandonment, but a purposeful advancement to a greater platform where competence is celebrated, integrity is institutionalised, and the destiny of the common man is secured. Apostle Dr. Johnson-Chukwunenye, having watched with admiration from the sidelines, confessed that she was irresistibly inspired and compelled by Governor Otti’s people-centred, result-driven, and transformative governance system – a governance that has restored transparency, fiscal discipline, infrastructural renaissance, prompt payment of workers, and renewed hope to Abians.

From the SDP she learnt, but in the Labour Party under Dr. Otti, she has chosen to build, because she has seen a leader who does not just promise, but performs, and a government that truly belongs to the people.

This historic alignment is made even more resounding by the calibre of personalities appointed to work with her under the chairmanship of the highly experienced and politically sagacious Rt. Hon. Ude Oko Chukwu, PhD, former Deputy Governor and former Speaker of the Abia State House of Assembly, whose wealth of legislative and executive experience will provide impeccable strategic direction.

Joining this formidable council are other titans of the 2023 governorship contest, including the distinguished Dr. Uche Sampson Ogah from Isuikwuato, former Minister of State for Mines and Steel Development, and Engr. Enyinnaya Nwafor from Osisioma LGA. The fact that these three awesome personalities, who once stood as formidable opponents and contested for the highest office against Governor Otti in 2023, have now resolved to collapse their structures, endorse and work assiduously for his re-election, is the ultimate vindication of Otti’s superlative leadership and an irrefutable testimony that Abia is now beyond partisan divides.

Their presence will undoubtedly inspire greater confidence, renewed unity, and unshakable faith among Abians at home and in the Diaspora, as it proves that excellence knows no party.

More importantly, the inclusion of Dr. Uche Ogah – a business mogul, deep-rooted grassroots mobiliser, and a man with massive followership across Abia North and beyond, will massively galvanise support, unlock new political frontiers, and provide a colossal boost to Governor Otti’s re-election bid, making his victory in 2027 not just highly potential, but inevitable. Abia State is indeed in safe, competent, and Godly hands.

This is therefore a clarion call to all Abians, at home and in the Diaspora, to rally round this noble organisation and mobilise en masse for the perfection of our dear state. Let us all align with this Labour Party vision, sensitise our neighbours, and ensure we deliver a resounding victory. The future is Labour, and the time to act is now!
