Amobi Ogah Asks INEC to Prosecute Onyejeocha For Forging, Tendering 63 Fake Polling Unit Results. Documents Attached

Hon Amobi Ogah, member representing the good people of Isuikwuato/Umunneochi Federal Constituency has petitioned the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) over alleged forgery, uttering and tendering of 63 polling unit result sheets from 2023 Isuikwuato/Umunneochi Federal Constituency elections by the Minister of State for Labour and Productivity, Hon Nkeiruka Onyejeocha, pjtvnew gathered.

Ogah has asked the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), to investigate, prosecute and reprimand Minister Nkeiruka Onyejeocha over what he termed as election results forgery.

The petition titled “Forgery, Uttering, and Tendering of Allied Forged Polling Unit Result Sheets Arising Out of the 2023 General Elections in Respect of Isuikwuato/Umunneochi Federal Constituency of Abia State by Hon. Nkeiruka Chidubem Onyejeocha” was sighted by pjtvnew correspondent, accused Nkeiruka Onyejeocha of forging and tendering 63 polling unit result sheets at the court during the tribunal and was assumed the forged result were given to her by the commission.

Parts of the petition sighted by our correspondent read in parts; “I am constrained to write you in respect of the above referenced matter, in a bid to make my contribution to the ongoing efforts at sanitizing our electoral system, and, curtailing to the barest minimum all forms of criminality in our country.

Although time does not run against a complaint against a crime, I am presenting this petition a bit late, due to the fact that I needed to gather all the relevant materials and information relevant to the successful presentation, investigation and persecution of the complaint.

I am the honorable member representing Isuikwuato/ Umunneochi Federal constituency in the House of Representatives , while Honorable Nkeiru Onyejeocha is at present, the honorable minister of state for Labour and productivity.”

Ogah alleged that, the certified true copies given to him after making all necessary payments were completely different from what the Minister of Labour and Productivity, Hon Nkeiruka Onyejeocha tendered during the tribunal.

He further revealed that, on the documents provided by Onyejeocha had INEC stamp on them and very different from the document issued to him by the same commission, an act he described as a criminal act aimed at subverting justice.

He continued by saying, “It is obvious from my narrative above, that these sixty three(63) polling units results tendered by Hon. Onyejeocha were fake and a product of an exercise in forgery . There can only be one authentic polling unit result in an election, which in this case your office confirmed to be the results which were certified and issued to me by INEC.

Ogah concluded by calling on INEC to use her office to investigate the obvious act of forgery and prosecute Onyejeocha and her accomplices accordingly.
