God's Time Is The Best: How Isuochi Royal Fathers, Stakeholders Rallied Behind Bourdex In An Emotional Show Of Goodwill And Solidarity For 2027

The political landscape across Abia North Senatorial District registered a massive, emotional tremor as the traditional rulers, council executives, presidents-general, and youth leaders across Isuochi Zones 1 and 2 in Umunneochi Local Government Area gathered to give a rousing reception to the Labour Party Senatorial Candidate, Chief Dr. David Ogba Onuoha Bourdex, MFR, OON.

The high-level consultative visit, which turned into a celebration of vision, legacy, and shared development goals, witnessed emotional moments as the royal fathers extolled Bourdex’s track record of courage, indigenous enterprise, and grassroots philanthropy.

Addressing the gathering, the revered traditional rulers recalled Bourdex’s historic role as a pioneer in telecommunications infrastructure, noting that at a time when private Nigerian entrepreneurs hesitated to invest in high-risk telecom ventures, Bourdex stepped forward to connect communities across Eastern Nigeria.

Reflecting on Bourdex’s relentless commitment to serving Abia North at the Upper Legislative Chamber, the royal fathers noted that this represents his third attempt at the Senate, offering a profound spiritual reassurance: “God’s time is always the best.”

Moved by the depth of warmth and affection, Chief David Ogba Onuoha Bourdex expressed profound gratitude, stating that true legacy is measured not by political titles held, but by the tangible value added to human lives.

“There is something profoundly reassuring about returning to a community after many years and discovering that your past efforts are still remembered,” Bourdex stated.

“It reminds us that the greatest legacy we can leave is not the number of offices we have occupied, but the value we have added to people’s lives. And to our royal fathers who reminded me that God’s time is the best, I say a very big thank you for those encouraging words!”

Beyond political expressions, the consultative session engaged directly with the developmental needs of the Isuochi realm.

Key infrastructural projects brought to the table included:

Road Infrastructure: Urgent rehabilitation of the Ihie–Ngada Road, Eke Amuda–Achara Road, and Amuda–Umuaku Road, alongside tackling severe erosion menace.

Healthcare & Public Utilities: Reactivation of the Comprehensive Health Centre at Nkwoagu, expansion of the Mmam Water Scheme, restoration of reliable public power, and enhanced commercial banking access.

Mmam Bridge Execution: Following up on the commitment made by His Excellency, Governor Alex Chioma Otti, OFR, who captured the strategic Mmam Bridge in the state budget.

Economic Interventions: Feasibility frameworks for establishing a modern daily market, enterprise-development funding, and vocational training centers for local youths.

Bourdex reassured the traditional rulers that these demands form an integral part of his legislative action plan, pledging to work seamlessly with Governor Alex Otti’s administration to deliver verified results.

Reflecting the political weight of the consultative visit, Bourdex was accompanied by an elite team of Abia State government functionaries, campaign leaders, and community elders, including:

Chief Nwaka Inem (Enyi Oha) — Special Adviser to the Governor on Trade, Commerce, and Industry

Sir Martin Emetu — Venerable Elder and Father of the Deputy Governor of Abia State

Dr. Oluebube Chukwu — Senior Official, Abia State Due Process Office

Hon. Ndukwo Ojukwu — Director-General, Team Bourdex

Dr. Dan Okoli — Coordinator, Rt. Hon. Amobi Ogah Campaign Council

Presidents-General, Youth Commanders, and Women Leaders across Isuochi Zones 1 and 2

The visit concluded with prayers and traditional blessings from the royal fathers for Bourdex’s victory ahead of 2027.
